The Quickstop Firefighter Multi-tool combines a fire sprinkler tool, spanner wrench (for hose connections and FDC caps), door chock, 02 wrench, utility key and PRV wrench. From active structure fires to extinguished fires by automatic sprinklers, firefighters now have a single tool to handle common tasks on these incidents. As the number of sprinklered buildings in the U.S. increases, fire crews are encountering more and more extinguished fires with severe water damage to the structure. The multi-tool stops that water immediately without affecting the rest of the fire protection system. Quickly stopping the water at the head, allows the remaining fire protection system in the building to operate while crews check for extension of fire or the water shut off. The chance of a hidden secondary fire or rekindle is greatly decreased since you would be notified of a sprinkler activation immediately. You are also reducing building damage which results in less clean up and shorter on scene times for fire crews. The mulit-tool is made of high strength chromoly steal that has been zinc plated to reduce rusting. The tool is reusable, single hand operated and tested up to 350 PSI. The Quickstop Multi-Tool is the FIRST AND ONLY fire sprinkler multi-tool on the market. It gives firefighters the equipment they need to attack commercial and high-rise fires and it stops fire sprinklers. The tool can be used to remove FDC caps, make standpipe connections, shut off residential utilities, adjust system pressures (PRV), open oxygen cylinders, blocks doors open, and stop fire sprinklers. Attaching a multi-tool to your high-rise hose packs gives your firefighters the equipment they need on the fire floor when they need it most. Quickly stopping the water at the head, allows the remaining fire protection system in the building to operate while crews check for extension of fire or search for main the water shut off. The Quickstop Muli-Tool also reduces building damage which results in less clean up for fire crews and shorter on scene times.
